Ok so some of you may be wondering whats a great option for the money if you need to carry a bunch of stuff to sustain yourself for 3 days+ on bare essentials…
Well here’s your answer, And by the way in no way am i promoting this is the only option but looking around and evaluating bang for the buck options this pack hits it for me and all my infantry brothers are just as satisfied as i am with it. so that being said take a look at the patriot outfitters trugunner 3 day tactical organizer back pack. following ill hit the main points dissecting this piece of kit.
Construction: Stitching is great all the way around, heavy-duty nylon i would guess at least 500d cordura but couldn’t find the spec on the site. regardless its a good quality nylon better than that we get issued for sure. Molle webbing is true molle spaced correctly and you wont have issues weaving other pouches or items to it.
Design: This pack has all the right things for an infantryman, prepper, regular civilian looking for some options and organization to a backpack for hiking, day-to-day use, or just a plain ol bug out bag of the sort. First off molle webbing all over this thing but more importantly in the right places. yes it has it on the outside but not overly so much it gets in the way and is cumbersome but also it has it the HUGE rear main pocket on the portion that zips away from your back and all up and down each side. The front compartment is basically what id call an admin pocket some spots to hold various small items and such. the next middle pocket has a big mesh pocket to hold larger items in place. and the rear most has all the molle and surprisingly 4 small pouches which are heavy-duty clear vinyl plastic and velcro to mount in whatever fashion you see fit along the whole back side that is lined with the loop portion of velcro of the main pocket. Just behind the rear main pocket you’ll find a zippered portion that allows it to expand a great deal and hold a bunch more gear. and just behind that is a pocket to hold a 100oz water bladder with a spandex hole in the top for the tube to run through or maybe a small laptop, just whatever you may wanna throw in there. Also there is a waist strap to help distribute the load which has zipper pockets on it as well for quick access of particularly small items and along each ergonomically shaped shoulder strap there are 2 pouches that are removable to hold something small like a iphone or the like. on the top is a sturdy handle and on the sides are a total of 4 compression straps with bungee fabric to hold the tails of loose ends.
Wearability: Well the back portion of this pack has sewn in ventilated mesh for breathability on your back as well as comfort for the load. the shoulder straps also have a chest strap with a clip to hold them in place so the whole thing doesnt move around and well anyone that’s carried a bunch of weight knows that keeping the whole thing from shifting makes it much more bearable.
overall impressions and usage of this pack are completely awesome and for the money $84.99 with free shipping i dare you to find a more capable pack of the same quality in that price range.
